Out of this world EP (2019)

Step aside, world, Idaho’s Urban Outfielders are up to bat, and they’re going to conquer the world of sports-themed pop punk. Self-dubbed as the “best baseball team in the whole wide world,” the band is back with four new catchy-as-hell songs about their favorite baseball-themed chewing gum, baseball love, Japanese MLB wizard Ichiro Suzuki, and extraterrestrial game intervention. Their only agenda? To be the best. Oh yeah, and to give a giant “fuck you” to the Yankees.

As they enter their fourth year as a band, team members Deano Barengrill (vocals, bass), Chucky Parrish (guitar, vocals), and Dicky Rivers (drums, vocals) continue to raise the bar for what it means to be part of the baseball punx community we’ve seen develop in North America. With “Out Of This World,” the band is coming out faster, harder, catchier, and more face melting than ever before. This season will — without a doubt — be one to remember, and their new EP proves itself to be a heavy hitter in the eternal soundtrack of America’s pastime. Unfortunately, it will be their last release with Rivers, who’s retiring to the Hall of Fame. But rest assured, he’s going out with a bang.

“Out Of This World” comes out April 19th via Hidden Home Records, and is now available for Pre-Order. Listen to the first single “Where Did He Go (Tito)” on Spotify and Apple Music.
